A little Belgium in Kansas …

When you observed of Belgium, what comes to thoughts? Stone clad farmhouses with cedar shake roofs, jardiniere gardens with hedge rows of elm bushes and crushed limestone walkways. Interiors of hardwood flooring, light colorings, linen, antiques, crystal, and seagrass. A little like this, right?

A Belgian dream, isn’t it? Except, it is not in Belgium. In truth, it’s now not in Europe, or today’s California, or Veranda stationed Houston. It’s the renovated antique faculty residence of my buddy Deserae, her husband and their furry own family within the dusty plains of Kansas!

Des and I genuinely take to each other some months ago once I emailed her about in which she were given some portions of her "vintage" furnishings, and we have been buddies ever on account that. Watching those rooms come collectively on her weblog, and via e mail has been so much amusing, and exceptionally inspiring. A collected blend of Belgian linen upholstered furnishings, and fine antiques, Des has a beautiful layout eye. Please revel in this small collection of images of her rooms, and run over to her blog: Peeking Thru The Sunflowers and go away a comment! I recognize that she’ll love having you!

Remember, Please take a second to pop  in over to Deserae’s blog and leave her a comment letting her know what you think!
